And the criminals were also crucified—one on his right and one on his left. 34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” And the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice. 35 The crowd watched and the leaders scoffed. “He saved others,” they said, “let him save himself if he is really God’s Messiah, the Chosen One.” Time to get the intolerance card out. Tilman Geske (1961-2007) Necati Aydin (1975-2007) Ugur Uksel (1978-2007) Names you probably haven't heard before. But I wish you had because these men are martyrs, evidence that the continued martyrdom of Christians carries on as it always has. These Christian men were held captive, tortured and murdered 6 years ago on April 18th 2007 in what is known as the Zirve Publishing House massacre , Malatya, Turkey. The suspected murderers were quickly arrested but have still not been brought to trial.
